5 Quick Tips To Open and HEAL Your Solar Plexus Chakra

Hook: Do you struggle with digestive issues, confidence, low energy, and struggle with discipline? If so, you might be struggling with a dysfunctional solar plexus chakra, also known as the third chakra. 

 

How is the solar plexus chakra connected to organs, emotions, and muscles, and How can someone tell if their solar plexus is blocked?



Organs: Chakra three connects to all digestive organs like the liver, pancreas, stomach, and digestive tract. Do you have digestive issues? Do you have a health history with one of the digestive organs? 

 

Emotions: A person with a dysfunctional solar plexus chakra can feel Powerless along with having self-doubt and confidence issues and needs confirmation. 

 

Nerves: Bloating, why? Remember, every organ in the body connects with a nerve channel that connects to the muscles nearest to it. In this situation, any inflammation with any digestive organ will cause inhibition ( turns off the muscle) of the core muscles, which creates bloating. 

 

Subconscious: What happened from ages 14-21? Did you get to the school you wanted to go to, or did Mom or Dad make you go to the school they thought was best? Did you choose the career or job you wanted, or did you stick to playing things safe? Were you pregnant and couldn't have the baby due to it not being the right time? I usually find this happening at age 20. 

 

Muscles: Do you have a weak core? Most people believe a strong core is having strong abs, but that’s not true. The core muscles are more than your abs. You have your TVA and Obliques that are very important when it comes to stabilization and rotation. A big sign of having weak core muscles is suffering from tight hips and lower back pain. Anytime the core muscles are weak due to inflammation from digestive issues or a lack of training, the pelvis will shift and compensate, causing the hips and lower back to be tight. 

 

Unlocking the Power Within Discovering the Secrets of the Solar Plexus - Let’s dive deep into healing the solar plexus ( third chakra) with the 5 layers of energy. 

 

Remember when the solar plexus, located in the upper abdomen, is the third chakra and is associated with personal power, confidence, and self-esteem. When this chakra is blocked, it can manifest as feelings of low self-worth, anxiety, and an inability to take action.

 

How can you tell us more about how a blocked solar plexus can impact someone's life?

 

A blocked solar plexus can affect a person's ability to assert themselves, to express their personal power, and feel confident. They may experience anxiety, low self-esteem, and a lack of motivation. Additionally, physical symptoms such as digestive issues and stomach pain can also be present.

Here are 5 steps to healing the solar plexus chakra. 

 

Let’s start off with healing digestion first. If you are having digestive issues, let's figure out why. The first place to start is chewing your food. Are you chewing your food enough to make it digestible for your system? Make sure you chew your food enough. This makes it easier for the digestive system to digest and assimilate your food. Next is your stomach. Most people struggle with low stomach acid and have symptoms of GERD. They can make the mistake of taking supplements or medications that inhibit stomach acid, believing they suffer from too much stomach acid. If you read the book “ Importance of stomach acid,” you will learn how most people who believe they have too much stomach acid actually suffer from too little. 

 

The next organ we have to make sure is functioning is your liver. Do you have a history of liver issues? Fatty liver, hepatitis, or gallstones? A sluggish liver will cause issues with detoxification and won't produce the right amount of bile. Bile is very important when it comes to breaking down fatty foods and assimilating fatty soluble vitamins (Vitamins A, K, E, and D). Any issues with the liver will cause issues with the gallbladder, detoxification, and digestion of fatty foods. 

 

The more issues a person has with the liver and gallbladder can cause problems with the pancreas. Your pancreas and gallbladder are connected to each other by the common bile duct. Usually, bile passes from your gallbladder through the common bile duct on its way to your small intestine. This can cause issues with the release of digestive enzymes, which are a huge contributor to digestion and assimilation. A history of pre-diabetes or diabetes can cause inflammation of the pancreas as well. 

 

The small intestines can have inflammation issues if an organ above ( liver, stomach, pancreas, etc.) has issues. Digestion is similar to a chain reaction. One issue with an organ will affect the rest of the digestion process. This can create SIBO or a Leaky gut within the small intestines. The large intestines are the home of the microbiome. A history of antibiotics, constipation, or a lack of fiber can cause issues with the colon. 

 

In order to have a functional solar plexus, we must figure out what is causing our digestive issues. When we do, we can move on to the next step of healing the solar plexus chakra, the muscles. When you no longer suffer from an inflamed gut, you can now properly start training the core muscles to restore strength and balance with your hips and posture. The less your digestive system is inflamed, and the more you strengthen your core muscles, the better the nerve channel communication between the digestive organs and core muscles will be. This is rewiring your central nervous system and overcoming faulty communication between the two, which causes muscle imbalance and pain. The stronger your core, the better your balance and posture, and the more confident you will feel subconsciously. 

 

Confident people stand and walk tall, whereas unconfident people stand and walk with rounded shoulders looking down. Your body believes your mind is GOD, meaning your mind and body communicate with each other. The more posture issues you have, the more the subconscious will receive that as not being confident enough or even being sad. Fixing your body posture creates better body language, which is one of the main indicators of the subconscious mind. 

 

Now that we have taken care of digestion, muscle imbalance, and posture, let’s dive into the emotions and subconscious habits. When it comes to developing a stronger solar plexus, it’s important to connect to your purpose in life. When you have a purpose, you have core values, giving you the strength and confidence to say NO to people and things. The problem with people with a dysfunctional solar plexus is they have no purpose or they are not consistent with their purpose, which leads them to say YES to things they really should say NO to.

 

When we go against our core values and say yes to things we shouldn't say yes to, we give our energy, discipline, and willpower to others and not ourselves. We start to rely on others for their help, opinions, and guidance and lose the personal power to do things by trusting our guts and knowledge to take action with our purpose. When we have a purpose ( Dream or Goal), we create core values to protect our purpose and develop the ability to say NO to things that distract us from our purpose. If you feel like saying NO is hard for you, we must look deeper into why.

 

Are you a people pleaser? Where did that come from? Did this start when you were younger, let’s say anywhere from 14-21 years old? If so, how is that working for you? I used to be a people pleaser, too, until I started to notice I never had the energy to care for myself and had no energy to work on my purpose. I also noticed as soon as I started to say no to people I used to want to please all the time, they turned “cold” on me. I learned I made relationships with people who didn't give me as much energy as I gave them. This motivated me even more, to focus on my purpose and to trust my gut. 

 

The more aware you become of where this subconscious habit came from, the more you can work on it. Now you know where your lack of purpose comes from, digestive problems, and posture imbalance, you now have the tools you need to heal your solar plexus.
